Rhodes and DiBiase aren’t doing so hot after their WWE Bash performances. No appearance on the following RAW episode. I’m guessing Orton will start going it alone.

Evan Bourne and Jack Swagger get a big career boost. Not only were they traded to RAW, but Triple H cited them as the “best new talent” in the WWE.

The CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy match scheduled for WWE’s Night Of Champions PPV seems to be getting a lot of attention from fans, and why not? They are two very talent singles wrestlers, and both are hardcore performers. The match is sure to be wicked!

Roddy Piper’s DUI arrest has stirred up quite a commotion among wrestling fans. Announcer Jim Ross stated on his blog that Roddy is surely embarrassed and fans need to lighten up on him. I say, if it were me rotting in jail for DUI, who would take pity on me? Screw that. You do the crime and get caught, you do the time and take the flack.

WWE superstar Edge will be side-lined for quite a while due to a torn Achilles tendon during a house show. This is serious and we may not see Adam Copeland again in the ring until 2010.

More WWE news – one of the senior vice presidents has stated that WWE may eliminate some pay-per-views this year and rename others to “freshen them up a bit”. This guy doesn’t get it. How many parents out there spend $50 a month for a PPV event for little Johnny or Jill to watch all by themselves?

WWE 24/7 On Demand Channels have started editing matches. The video turns black and white whenever blood appears on a match? This is completely ridiculous. I’ve been watching wrestling since the early 80′s and there’s always been blood. Here’s an idea, just remove the video completely and broadcast audio only, that way you don’t have to worry about anything and everyone’s fragile little minds are safe. What a joke!

More WWE censorship – seems even though Vince McMahon agrees with Joey Styles political views on twitter about the present government administration, Styles has been told to NOT post on twitter anymore. I have not been able to reach Styles for weeks now. This is outrageous.

One final point about WWE’s recent censorship policies. Why is it so important that our children not see blood, but it’s okay for the divas and wrestlers to appear half-naked during every broadcast? Doesn’t it seem anyone else that WWE management is off the track in left field somewhere in their assessment of the situation?

TNA needs severe help with show openers. Why not start the broadcasts out doing what they do best? Wrestle! Let the story lines come, why does everything have to be so “involved” that it takes 10 minutes of air time to keep fans “on-track”. Maybe they could take some of that precious “wrestling promo time” and convert it to story-line time. More wrestling, less plot.

Raven and Douglas are gone. Raven is great in the ring, but has never been reliable nor much of a public speaker, Douglas… uhm.. I’ve seen him in WCW, ECW, and TNA now and do not find anything he does amusing, entertaining, or original. He’s been trying the same “I’m the man” persona since I first saw him in WCW. Hey Shane! Get a new gimmick!

Wrestling wise, Taylor Wilde and Daffney completely stole the last show in my opinion.
