Velvet Sky (born Jamie Szantyr) is the sexiest professional wrestler on the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion. She has also been known to work outside of TNA using the name Talia Madison.

Early Wrestling Career
Szantyr began her professional wrestling career working in independent circuits using names such as Tailia Doll, Miss Talia, and Talia Madison. She and April Hunter formed the tag team called “T&A” appearing in the World Xtreme Wrestling promotion. On May 29th, 2004, She was booked in a womens Battle Royal and won the WXW Women’s Championship. Adopoting the name Tailia Madison, she won the Defiant Wrestling Women’s Championship on April 8th, 2006 in a Triple Threat match against Nikki Roxx and Alere Little Feather. T&A (Talia & April), still wrestling in the independent tag team divisions, won the Women’s Extreme Wrestling Championship titles defeating Lollipop and Amber O’Neal. She also won the WEW Women’s Championship title on May 5th, 2007 beating Angel Orsini.
World Wrestling Federation – WWF
Appearing in a few WWE televised broadcasts, Szantyr serving as an extra for John Bradshaw Layfield on the February 24th, 2005 episode of Smackdown. She appeared twice on Sunday Night Heat, on July 11th, 2005 she was beaten by WWE diva Victoria and on January 2nd, 2006 she came from the audience into the ring to dance with the tag team The Heart Throbs. Her final relationship with the WWE came in the form of an audition for the 2007 WWE Diva Search but did not make the finals.
Total Nonstop Action – TNA
In 2007 TNA announced the creation of their women’s division called The TNA Knockouts. At the pay-per-view event, Bound for Glory, Talia Madison competed against ten other women in a Gaunlet match. Although she didn’t win, she made a good showing and was signed to the TNA roster. On December 2nd, 2007 at Turning Point, Talia Madison changed her in-ring name to Velvet Sky and aligned herself with Angelina Love. The duo called themselves “Velvet-Love Entertainment” and they defeated ODB and Roxxi Laveaux.

On the March 13 episode of iMPACT!, The Beautiful People assaulted Laveaux and later that night Gail Kim. As The Beautiful People became bolder and attacks more frequent, TNA management setup a special match at Lockdown that featured eight women on the outside of a steel cage fighting to get in. The first two to enter the cage would continue in a singles Ladder match. Winner gets number one contender spot, loser gets her head shaved, fortunately for Velvet, she never made it in the cage.
The Beautiful People continued their assaults on other TNA Knockouts and started putting a brown paper bag with the likeness of one of the two over their victim’s head. They call this “the brown bag treatment” and assaulted almost every woman on the roster.Sky won a Knockouts Battle Royal on June 17th for number one contendership to the TNA Knockout Championship losing the match as well as two more title matches to then Knockout champion Taylor Wilde.They began an association with Cute Kip, who become known as their “fashion consultant”. But at Bound for Glory 2008, The Beautiful People with Cute Kip were beaten by ODB, Rhaka Khan, and Rhino. In April of 2009, the group added Madison Rayne to the lineup and soon after, Cute Kip was ousted from the group. At Lockdown, Sky helped partner Love gain the Knockouts Championship title and at Slammiversary Sky helped Love retain the title against Tara by spraying hair-spray in her eyes causing her to lose the match. Velvet Sky remained, comfortably, at the side of Angelina Love and Madison Rayne until Hard Justice where The Beautiful People squared off against ODB and Cody Deaner for the TNA Knockouts belt. Due to a major screw-up by Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky was pinned by Cody Deaner which left a very irate Angelina Love to deal with. The following week on iMPACT! Love and Sky excommunicated Rayne from the group.
The following iMPACT! broadcast featured The Beautiful People vs Tara and Awesome Kong. In a post-match altercation, Sky was knocked out and a Tarantula was put on her by Tara as the rest of The Beautiful People ran. On July 7th, 2009 she was booked in a match against Tara. Before the bout, she warned Angelina against running out on her again if things went wrong. After losing the match to Tara, Angelina Love was forced to either watch her unconscious friend subjugated to the giant spider or face Tara for the Knockout title. Tara defeated Love which caused friction in the ranks of the Beautiful People.
