Early Pro Wrestling Promotions
Beginning in 2006, Crawford was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling after signing a developmental contract with WWE . On July 1rst, she appeared as a special guest referee for a bout between ODB and Shelly Martinez. But she actually made her in-ring debut on September 6th as “Tori” participating in an OVW Ladies Battle Royal. Tori snared the OVW Women’s Championship in fall, but lost it the following day to Beth Phoenix. Around spring-time in 2007, Tori competed in the first “Miss OVW” contest, helping ODB win and during summer-time she participated in the “Divalympics”. She continued performing in OVW until it severed it’s ties with WWE.
On September 2nd, 2007, Crawford officially joined the ranks of Florida Championship Wrestling and competed in a “best body contest”. A couple of weeks later, she started working for the promotion challenging such divas as The Bella Twins, Miss Angela, Tiffany, and Melina Roucka.

Friday Night Smackdown
Alicia Fox debuted for Smackdown, June 13th, 2008,as Vickie Guerrero’s flirtatious wedding planner. She ultimately was caught on camera making out with Edge (Vickie’s fiance) the day of their wedding reception. She attempted to help Edge win the WWE Championship, but Vickie became jealous and wound up being accidentally Speared by her own husband. Fox was sent back to FCW for further training.
Extreme Championship Wrestling
On November 18th, Alica appeared in ECW managing DJ Gabriel and began in ring wrestling a couple of month later losing her first match to Katie Lea Burchill. Seven days later, she and DJ Gabriel beat Paul and Katie Lea Burchill in an inter-gender tag match. At Wrestlemania 25, she participated in a 25 Diva Battle Royal.
Return to Smackdown
It was announced April 15th, 2009, that Alicia had returned to Friday Night Smackdown via the Supplemental Draft. Two weeks later, she appeared on WWE Superstars partnering with Michelle McCool to upset the team of Gail Kim and Maria. She appeared again at The Bash with McCool helping her win the Women’s Championship.
Monday Night Raw
June 29, 2009 Fox was been drafted to Monday Night Raw. The following week, Alicia Fox and Maryse Ouellette lost a tag team match against Gail Kim and Mickie James.On August 7th, Alicia Fox’s career took a serious step in the right direction. During a Fatal Four Way on Raw, she competed for the number one contender’s spot for the Diva’s Championship. While she did not win the number one spot, she was vicious in the ring and gave Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix, and Kelly Kelly a match they won’t soon forget. On August 24th’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Alicia got into a Triple Threat Tag Team match with Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendes against Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly to make a decisive statement winning the match for her team with a scissors kick to the back of Mickie James’ neck. On October 5th, 2009 Alicia Fox competed against Mickie James for the Diva Championship title, but it eluded her grasp.
While she is still relatively new to the professional wrestling business, Alicia Fox has finally been promoted to main roster use in WWE. My first impressions were that she was young and beautiful, but had no in-ring ability. In recent months, Alicia has been more aggressive in the ring following the lead of mentor Michelle McCool. She’s taken some nice falls and given a few too. I hope Crawford continues training heavily so WWE continues to have a good fighting women’s division.
