World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) diva Brie Bella is one of the two beautiful twin sisters known as the Bella Twins. She is currently on the ECW brand tagging and doing backstage segments with her sister Nikki.

In June of 2007 Nikki and Briana Garcia were assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling after signing developmental contracts with the WWE. Debuting in FCW, on September 15th, 2007, they won their first match which pitted the two against Nattie Neidhart and Krissy Vaine with Victoria Crawford as special guest referee. They were called the “Bella Twins” after that and started feuding with Neidhart and Crawford throughout the following months, occasionally competing in mixed tag matches with Kofi Kingston and Robert Anthony. In December of 2007, the duo managed Derrick Linkin until his release a month later. So they resumed their rivalries with Neidhart and Crawford. The four continued their battle until April, when Nattie was promoted to the WWE roster, and Milena Roucka took her place. The sisters continued their training against other singles competitors such as Katie Lea Burchill and Daisy. In their final FCW appearance, on September 2nd 2008, they competed in a Divas Battled Royal.

Regressing a bit, the Bella Twins tried entering the WWE in the 2006 Diva Search, while they did not make the finals, they scored a developmental contract (see above). Appearing on Smackdown, August 29th, 2008, Brianna debuted in the WWE defeating Victoria after sliding under the ring and switching places with her sister. The two feuded weekly with Brianna sliding under the ring and her sister taking her place to win the match. Eventually, Victoria brought Natalya Neidhart to the ring and though Brianna got the win, she tried running under the ring and was caught by both Natalya and Victoria. As both women pulled at what they thought was Briana, both her and her sister were pulled out. The duo attacked the shocked women and celebrated the victory.

Nikki and Brie Bella officially had their first WWE tag team match as The Bella Twins on November 24th, again wresting Victoria and Natalya. They won the debut match, but the rivalry between the four continued for months. In November, the two started escorting Colóns (Carlito and Primo) to the ring for their matches. Within weeks, they started a double on-screen romance appearing numerous times with them, always accompanying them to the ring.
On February 13th, 2009, The Colóns lost to John Morrison and The Miz, in a “winner gets the Bella Twins to dinner for Valentines Days” match. The date was a complete joke featuring Morrison and Miz trying to out-brag one another and Primo and Carlito dressed as waiters attempting to sabotage it. The Colóns wound up getting caught and angering the girls. Nicole and Brianna became the focal point of a rivalry between the four, all competing for their affection while they appeared unable to chose between them….until, March 17th on Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) Carlito accidentally spit chewed up apple pieces in the face of the Brianna. Nikki laughed as Brianna was embarrassed and a fight broke out between them. Nicole left with Morrision and The Miz, while Brianna stayed with the Carlito and Primo. This led to the obvious six-person inter-gender tag team match and Brianna’s pin-fall victory over her sister on March 27th. But Nicole came back four days later pinning Brianna after a distraction caused by Morrision and Miz.
As a part of the April 15th, 2009 Supplemental Draft, the duo left Smackdown to join the Raw roster. Brianna’s first competition on Raw was an eight diva tag team match that, not only did her team win, but also featured a re-unification of the Bella Twins.
Approximately 2 months later, on June 29th, 2009, Brianna and Nicole were sent to the ECW brand. They appeared on an interview segment with “Abraham Washington” acting like sixteen year old girls and arguing over who lost their virginity first.
In my opinion, Brie Bella is a beautiful, young, and talented professional wrestler. Her in-ring abilities out-shine any character flaws she might have and the luck of having a twin sister that can wrestle opens up many possibilities for both women. What else can I say except, “Double the look, double the wrestler, double the pleasure”.
